Top Overhaul

Need some advice here.Thinking of doing the top overhaul for my engine. What are the thing need/common to change and the estimate please. Thanks

Met Pussy yesterday afternoon and test drive his m50 2.5 again. The accelaration......the power......the ..... compare with m40 1.8 driving the e30 body....

Now which route should i go.....

m40 b18 top overhaul it self will cost 1.5K like that only.

not sure how's your engine condition.

u have to expect the hose cracked, pipe worn out.

let say if do top & change engine core plug, timing belt, water pump, tensioner, engine absorber. hoses, etc will cost bout RM2.5K

maybe u can get quotation from calvin tan ?

M50 conversion is nice. heard pussy spent bout 13K for it ??

can do atleast 6 times top overhaul already..

its depends on which power u want..

Your sump being too low??how is this problem rectified with an engine overhaul??My oil sump also too low...always scared when driving,busted it once.
any advice kindly appreciated.

well due to engine jamming after about driving it for almost 1km trying to get to safe spot to pull over...have to change my crankshaft, piston rings, crankshaft bearings n a few seals....n i will only know the outcome after this saturday...my car since bought was low...my front max 2 fingers n rear 1 finger gap...road handling was fantastic but once kena a bump u have to pay the price n knowing our malaysian roads some bumps r just nice n others come in various sizes just like womens bra size....sigh....
