Toll hikes effective 1st March 2009

Darn it. NPE up to RM 2 now? Sheesh... Which means travelling from Sunway to Bukit Bintang may cost up to RM 6 one way [RM 2 X 2 tolls + RM 2 SMART].

Damm.... MF, just closed the salak south toll booth saves me RM1.30 everyday going to work, now they want to raise the price of the rest pulak.

Yeah. I travel to Subang pretty often and I always use NPE to go there and on the way back I use SMART as well.

I guess the only consolation is that they're removing the 2nd toll soon.

Actually I'm more concerned about what the gov is going to do with the savings.

I guess one can surmise that nothing will happen and it'll probably be pocketed by some cronies just like the RM4 billion saved from petrol subsidy but one would like to have hope that it will eventually be put to good use.

Yup one of the tolls will be abolished on the NPE soon. I believe it's the last toll heading towards KL.

Ahh. Planning to get rid of the second toll? You mean the Old Klang Road toll which was removed recently or another toll? I doubt they'd be getting rid of the Sunway one nor the Bangsar ones anytime soon. *sheesh*

Actually I only caught a glimpse of the notice that was up on the electronic board along the highway.

Something about Pemansuhan (abolishing) of the last toll heading to KL. NPE only has 2 toll booths right?
