The "will" is determined or driven by a "reason". U can't just say I want to be a millionaire.. most will just fail. Still can't find 1 reason to stop smoking.. maybe this month.. to save up for the Annual Dinner.. :p :D

You'll never stop doing something you enjoy la, so start to focus on all the negative things la i.e. bad breath, heavy lungs, painful dry coughs, headache, that bitter taste when you wake up in the morning, so many more la. Or do what I did, do a puff marathon and end up getting nico & tar poisoned, you'll quit automatically:thefinger:

think of the money u will save to spend on ur beloved BMW.....that will make u stop without much difficulty.

I can assure you, i tried to "help" a few BMW forumers smokers here to quit but sad to say.....they had little willpower and continued.....oh well, i tried and its their life, health, money and love ones to compromise.

btw, if sex can even be compared to smoking - then u dunno what real sex is.....HA HA LOL!

I get the message LOUD and Clear:eek:

Every year's resolution " Quit SMOKING" and it fails miserably. This year's resolution " I quit, QUIT Smoking" it a winner.

Props to those that manage to quit smoking!

I don't smoke and I reckon its something my late grandpa did many many years ago....

One CNY, he got all his grandkid then (we were all between 4 - 10 and prob around 8 - 9 of us...) to sit around the living room after lunch. He open his old tin of tobacco, hand rolled a ciggy (really nasty stuff... no filter..), lit it and offered us a puff. We were like "whoa?!?!?" One of the older cousins (and braver ones) volunteered, took a puff and.... effectively emptied his lunch, breakfast and last night's supper all over the living room.... really nasty stuff....

Till now, I don't remember any of my cousins smoking save for one (oddly enough, the one that took the puff)..... some wisdom there from grandpa perhaps.... :D

wise grandpa.. accepted a single collateral damage for the good of the many :)

I quit after 29 years of smoking - cold turkey. Had too - coz the doc is going to snip-snip my lung.

First 2 years was bad - withdrawal syndrom - cough, runny nose, fever, lethargic etc etc but the doc said - normal - body expect nicotine.

Will i smoke again - nope , not coz of money but time to move on and try something else .. .:top:
