To replace back Original Catalytic converter or after market C.Converter E60 530i Pre LCI

Need advise from all sifu,

After twice checking by technician for my 530i, I need to change my both catalytic converter which is same place at engine side but not bottom of engine or centre catalytic. total labour + chop shop catalytic converter is RM 2k.
Just want to know is it better to change it to brand new after market catalytic converter ? any sifu got experience for this issue.scared changing to after market C.Converter , the car will lost power ?
but if change back chop shop C.Converter, worry not lasting long..really headache. .

It is best to keep to original. Having said that, a pair of new original cat converters will cost you at least RM5k. I had similar problem with my e39 cat converters and my mechanic gotten a used pair from a chop shop for RM1k and that was more than a year ago. Just make sure that you mechanic get a good one from the chop shop.

thx for your advise..after check with atmosphere sunway today, if change after market C.Converter, engine light will on...
so I decided to replace back 2 units of Original C.Converter from chop shop..mechanical give me warranty for few months ...all in plus labour rm 2k...
