I tested a X5 at Mofaz Damansara. Seem to be in good condition. Owner upgrading to Mercedes CLS350.I find the X5 a little too hard riding. The kids love the X5.What can I do to make the X5 more comfortable for a start?Anything else I should know about the X5 before buying it?Thanks so much friends:love:

What size rims did it have on it? 17"'s will soften the ride but wont look as good. If its the X5 M Sport model then thats why it will have the stiffer set up.

Just make sure it has FSH and you shouldnt have too many problems hopefully

I would recommend not to touch any of the settings.. If you decide to get it, just live with it. Remember to drive slowly around town bcoz any slight imperfections on the road are transmitted directly to the seat and will result in head bobbing for the passengers at the back, so slower speeds definitely help. The payoff is in confidence inspiring road holding + massive traction in the wet. This beast does not care for wet roads...

that my friend, will be your famous last words......

wide wheels, high CG and weight are all factors which work against u. Drive safely, adjust speed according to the conditions.

Ask Bundy - your club president and head instructor BMW to elaborate more.
