Let be fair to the Past Committees. Due recognition have been accorded to the Founder.

See picture below. Mr Chester have been given a token in recognition for his contribution by VVIP Mr. Vijay of BMW Malaysia in 2004 where the first election of the protem Committee before the ROS.

This picture show the bunch of guys who were elected as the protem Committees. (Year 2004 till 2006)

Again another recognition accorded to Mr Chester by Mr. Vijay of BMW Malaysia during the IAD2005. (Year 2005). FYI, Mr. 535I is the Managing Chairman of the first Annual Dinner. Mr. Chester and Vijay are some of the VVIP guest invited to the party.

Like they say, a picture say a thousands words. So please judge for yourself. Respect is earned. and 535I, you have my upmost respect when you were the Managing Chairman of the IAD2005. Respect. People do forget very easily.. sigh..

Thanks Jarance for the lovely pictures. That was about 5 years ago. AGM was held at Futsal Area nearby KBU College. The Emcee was Chrischy. We had a BBQ after the AGM which everyone paid RM15 bucks or something, and money collector was Wendy.
Yes, it was the good ole' days. We had good food, great camaraderie and what a lovely night it was.

Being involved as a pro-tem committee, advisor and now part of the committee of this club, I have seen it all in the last 5-6 years. People come and go, and no one individual is bigger than this club. We shall all spread the love for our rides and the BMW marque, and not politicking over trivial matters like why this person cannot be president or why I am not getting this and that.

It is politicking and misrepresentation of actual facts that have partially led to formation of splinter groups in the past and to a certain extent, the politicking in this club. To those that want to spread hate, jealousy and rumours amongst members, this club has no place for you.

I believe everyone has said their piece, and good to see some old-timers putting things to proper perspective and this thread will be closed by 5pm.

It was definitely not me cos as I said, I was hiding in the drain till the cops left. I lost to Albundy's so called "520i" earlier by 1-2 car lengths cos I had a full tank and was fatter. My only consolation was beating Marco's E46 coupe 325i UK spec but I won't want a rematch with him now with all the mods he has done, heh! :wink:

Actually, at that time not many sifus around that were familiar with the M50, M52 engines, especially those with Siemens ECU. I had done two transplants before I joined the club. Met Fabian, Sideways, QuickSilver at Men Powder workshop when that was Da Place to be at those days. Loneranger was the first one to do the E30 M50 conversion at Stuttgart, and everyone wanted to see that car.

Dang, even Juan Powerblow attends TT religiously those days despite his busy schedule with the ladies!!:wink:

The first person to welcome me at my first TT was Pussy. Came with his torch light to inspect my "520i".:stupid:

PDNC was thrilling but those were the rempit days..

Sigh, those were the days... I remember my first TT at the mamak shop opposite SDMC (formerly known as SJMC)... and Kinghamsap asked me to climb a lamp-post like a monkey and he will come to get me (and nope, I did not climb that lamp-post)... my first teh tarik was on him then too.:love:

I was also attending most of the TTs then too. but unfortunately work and family matters have prevented me from attending anymore TTs.
