Strange: Coolant leaking after 24 Hours

If you see coolant dripping around hose #6 & 8, just change it. These hoses have a tendency to become brittle due to the direct connection to the engine block.

These are the picture of hose #6 and 8 remove from my car. See the broken part as compare to the new parts.

Also change the oil mist separator which changing the hose as it a major job to remove the air intake manifold, fuel rail etc etc.

Strange leaking problem SOLVED ! speacial thanks goes to bro Jarance u :rock: , the actual culprit was indeed hose #6 & #8, i did't suspect it at first cause its quite difficult to see any leak as its inside the engine block & 2nd reason cause i just changed both the both hose's 3 months back for Rm 600!
But after mechanic open the engine cover, both the hose were leaking on the nozzle side, and guess what... the previous mechanic used glue to stick the hose to the engine where a simple greese will do the magic, as the seal was covered with glue it cannot expend and srink as it suppose to do, damn what an idiot mechanic would he be!! So now the issue is fixed for Rm 440 and no more leak's in the morning :smokin:

As a good practice, I always watch the mechanic when they work on my car.

it for the knowledge and also discuss the reason why certain things are done in certain ways.

you should fill it when the orange stick just start to float out of the expansion tank mouth.

The air pocket is required for the expansion of water/coolant when it get hot.

So that means that when the orange stick sticks fully out of the expansion tank, the expansion tank should be empty but coolant can be seen at the bottom of it.
