Steering free play when standstill

bmw7833, had similar problem like u last time....

i changed my internal parts of my steering rack (ie: buy the repair kit), problem solved.....

6-cylinder e39 steering should not have free play, it should feel tight n just nice......unlike 6-cylinder e46 steering....ahhaahaaha......

Totally agree with eddiefiola.

My mech says the same thing as my E46 too has some steering free play.

bmw7833, what do u mean 'hate'? not just hate, e46 shouldn't have exist..... crap car........kereta sepuluh ringgit, especially the 6-cylinder ones.......... hehe......

4-cylinder e46 not bad...... itu kereta tiga puluh ringgit.......

herbert, tak ingat lah. it was done in 2007.
just go to jusco, tesco or giant, ask for steering repair kit. no need to buy entire steering rack. definitely much much cheaper than buying whole new steering rack......

note: go to shop selling bmw parts laaa......

bimmerholic, do not bother to sit ur ass inside e46. find the worst car u've ever driven in ur entire life, e46 then is below it.......
