Sound Proofing your F30 - Especially 320d Models.

Perhaps it is BMW's intention to keep the engine note seeping into the cabin? 3 series is meant to be a sports sedan so a muted engine roar is quite a deviation from their tradition.

If it's only the engine noise then it's ok. But we get wind noise, tyre roar, rattling sound, steering klok klok sound, etc. together. Lol

Probably soon enough we can code the engine note artificially sing via the speakers and sub. Latest M3/4 already having such.

Insulation for 4 doors and car boot for RM395 with STP gold seems quite affordable.

Do you all think its worth it? Thinking of adding soundproofing for the bonnet with STP hood solution.
