Soundproofing

With the sound proofing as one of the major complaints for F30 particularly wind noise and road roar, I am wondering if anyone done any additional soundproofing to their car.If anyone here have performed any types of SP to their car can you please advise what type and advise on the effectiveness to help us to see how we can improve our ride.

i decide not to cos afraid the sp material will alter the weight balance of the car...... this was my experience sp my focus previously.

change your run flats to comfort tyres. you will see approx 50% improvements in noise for roar noise.

wind noise it difficult to fix.

I auto foamed the car and soundproof the boot lid. Added a little weight but hardly noticeable. The improved road handling is noticeable and quieter. Agree with jennypenny that changing the tyres would improve further.

i personally dont like autofoam by KL Auto. i think it doesnt help much. i have a few of my friends with dissatisfied results with them. most of the time its the placebo effect.

i think dynamats really work though.
