can i know size of the engine number of bmw uk spec e39 ? i went to puspakom they said my engine number size big than local bmw , & said i change the engine. i didn't ?

Unless you have a V8 underneath the bonnet, most layman cant tell whether its a 520, 525 or 528.

If I'm not wrong, the VIN numbers from the CBU cars are longer than the CKD cars which probably explains why the Puspakom idiot is jumping the gun! Do you have the vehicle's registration card with you ? Does the VIN or Chassis No. as they called it here match with the one imprinted on your vehicle ?

BIGGER as in larger size fonts used to imprint the numbers on your vehicle's chassis or bigger as in being longer = containing more alphabets + numbers compared to CKD ones ?
