How to check if my X6 engine is really 40d? or have i been conned?

Hi there, I recently put a downpayment for a imported UK spec X6 40D. Can anybody let me know how do I check if my X6 is really 40d spec? Because I'm actually worried that I've been conned by my car dealer, and it could be a 30d or 35d..When I put in downpayment for my car, they provide me a Kastam Form 8... it stated X6 30D. with the chassis number.. i check the chassis number online. it's made May 2011. but have no information about what model is the engine.Is there a website or something that I can put in the engine number to check what model is the engine?anyone can help me with this? it's really urgent
