Am probably going to open a can of worms here, but what the heck, here goes... Am thinking of getting a runaround car for the HM and like the looks/concept of the SmartForFour? Am inviting comments on those who have experienced it or those just giving me their 2 sen...

I think there's a discount for SmartForFour being sold now...
I think there's more plastic than metal on that car. Not too sure about its future since the production for this car has been stopped.

anyhow, JUST looked at VW Cross Polo this afternoon.. quite nice.. built quality as good if not nicer than a-class.. at rm12+.++, quite well priced for its specific market segment..

It may be those cars stuck at Port Klang during the AP crisis though.

Smart For Four is a nice drive to in town.

u will feel very torquee & even beat those proton with 1.6 Mivec engine.

I drove it most of the day. i prefer ForFour more than ForTwo.

ForFour is much powerful especially when go up to Genting Highland.

I can send you the accident preview movie on this plastic car if u wan.

Its unbelievable.

I paid RM68K for my smart forfour. The price is about the same as what the Europeans pay in Europe. The reason why it is cheap now is because Daimler Chrysler plans to stop production for the forfour. So, DC Malaysia pushed its panic button. Parts are still available in Europe. This car is equivalent to a Kancil in Europe. They are everywhere. It is cheap to own and cheap to run.

Two weeks ago, CCM at Federal Highway offered me 2006 model going for RM76K++. Since it was the model a customer cancelled to buy I am not sure whether it was still available. You can try to talk to the sales manager Mr. Peter Lim. However, you have to accept whatever color combination they offer you because stocks are really limited.
