I believe the Octavia RS is not meant to compete with the Passat, it is targeted for the Golf GTI audience which is significantly different than the Passat crowd.

The Skoda interior has fantastic built quality as good as Audi, in terms of material choice.. VW offers the most crappy plastic interior fittings of all the Euro marque I can think of. No wonder some call it Proton of Europe. :4:

I understand but the point I'm trying to make is if you have RM180K and looking for a new car, Passat is also within the budget.
