After Saturday morning's planning meeting for the Grand TT, some of us head to a new car detailing center called Show Car Detailing Center for a car wash. It is located on Jalan Templer. The location is on the roundabout opposite UMW Toyota.This center was established in March this year and uses excusively Meguiar's products. There are many packages to suit your needs, from the basic wash to the showcar detailing work. It also carries the Meguiar's complete product range if you want to do some of the stuff yourself at home. They have 8 working bays for detailing in the garage. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgable in their work. We lazed away the afternoon in the customer lounge which was tastly decorated equipped with a huge LCD TV, auto maganizes, plush sofas and tables. Have a cup of coffee and relax while they work on your car. We ended up having lunch there that afternoon. Some of the pics before going home:

The car wash, although slightly higher priced than outside is definitely worth every ringgit. This is the first time in so many years of patronage to manual car washes that I see someone actually clean the insides of my rims. Very happy camper here and will definitely go back there again soon.

how much is washing alone?

They have many range of car wash which start from RM15 for 3 series RM18 for 5 series. Value for money is the premium car wash which is RM30 which is inclusive of i layer of ultimate quick detailer exterior and interior as well. In your case salina it is located at Jalan Templer round about.If you are coming from jalan 222 just go strait, when you see the round about this place is just next to it. Please go and have a try. All of us was very the puas hati on that day. Me and Yazid end up washing the car again at home because on the way back it rain like cats and dog.

salina, jalan templer is off the federal highway opposite side of jalan 222, pj. jalan templer leads to a roundabout and then to jalan gasing/pj old town.

U know where Jalan Tandang is? U will see a round-a-bout there and the Detailing Center is standing proudly facing the round-a-bout.

An easier direction for Salina is use the LDP and turn off into Federal Highway, facing KL. Pay attention to Jalan 222 exit. Keep left to exit Federal Highway but u have to turn right crossing under the Federal Highway because the place is at the right hand side of the Federal Highway. U will immediately see a round-a-about. U will see the Meguiar Detailing center facing the round-a-bout.

Pinjam the following map just to show u the round-a-bout..yes! the first round-a-bout. The Center is opposite Toyota (Top Mark), across the round-a-bout.

yup it was worth the time but i didnt polished my car as ive polished it 3 weeks b4 tat and i wax it myself a week b4 tat using my Meguiers NXT, i only wash my baby + quick detailing for it :wink: btw they are very friendly and helpful :4: surely will advice my frens to go there :wink:

sorry for the off topic..but is there any good solution for maintaining the freshly waxed look of our cars? i know it doesnt last long because of our climate. a once a month wax is kind of ideal for me. instead of twice or three times a month.
