Thats a standard price :)No worries, you were not conned :D

Ace,Not comfortable with your ride quality anymore? There is no way you can get the comfort of ori setup. You need to compromise in a way.psssst.... now try to take corners at 140kmh, and you will enjoy your new shocks & springs :D

the new bilstein shocks need some time to 'break in'... give it a couple of months to settle down....

Ace, you might wanna PM Koryong. He has the stock springs+bilstein shocks setup on his E36. Get his input on this first.

greaser, be realistic. ur NEVER gonna get suspension that's lower and handles better than stock and still be as comfortable as stock. it doesnt exist.any suspension setup that results in less body roll and better handling will usually also result in some loss of comfort and increased ride harshness. have u ever sat in a race car? they're not the most comfy rides in the world.if what u want is comfort, better stick with the stock suspension. or u can use the stock springs with the uprated dampers. this will usually lower the car a little cos most aftermarket dampers have a shorter body than stock. this will also give slightly better handling without sacrificing too much comfort.good luck!redd

Redd is right. It is always a compromise though sometimes you can get better handling and sacrifice comfort to a level your arse can still tolerate. That's the meaning of "better handling while retaining comfort". This is very subjective as some people's bump are softer than others :pMy Apex + Sachs Super Touring setup is quite good, comfort level within my bump's tolerance except when going over those yellow strips at fairly highspeed (above 80 kph).
