From the Star Online:The price of RON97 petrol will be determined at the end of each month due to the managed float of oil price, says Domestic Trade, Consumerism and Co-operatives Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.“We will calculate the average oil price from the 1st to the 27th of each month and the average price will determine the price for the next month,” he said after launching Bank Rakyat i-Debit card Tuesday. The price of RON97 increased by 10 sen to RM2.50 per litre, earlier this month.Ismail Sabri said this would mean that the price of RON97 would fluctuate every month as it depended on the price of crude oil in the global market. The RON97 petrol price also rose by 10 sen per litre to RM2.40 on Jan 4.

Yup, I really want to see if it'll decrease if and when the crude oil prices gets lower.

why bother?? all UDMs are made to run just as good on anything above 91. So 95 is more than enough. why go97? its not going to give you any more advantage.

+1 exactly as above. I believe more what BMW told me on my car's fuel cap rather than somebody else.

Both 528 and 328 are on Ron 95 since they changed the Ron and no significant difference.
But only BHP give me better performance & mileage.

i guess crude oil price should hit max around august-oct. If another hurricane comes into Gulf of Mexico, that would be disaster for pricing. Then it should slide off again. But for now, brace of higher price.

RON97 is selling at RM2.50 now.... full tank for my E90 will cost about RM135+- now... i guess I need to consider to change to RON95... hehe

since it isn't subsidised, might as well just allow the oil companies to sell 97 at whatever price they choose. that'll be fun - just like comparing pump prices in the States.

Glad to see my 'butt dyno' is quite reliable....I've not been imagining the difference using BHP, seems like quite a few on this forum (from other threads as well) like this station!
