Retrofit navigation for E60's

Hey guys,Just wondering, now that Sapura + AB is offering navi retrofit for non-navigation bmw's.. The pre-facelifted E60's..Does anyone know the respective part numbers that they will replace when they do the retrofit?For RM28K, its kind of steep.If i can try to source some of the parts myself or second hand, i might be able to make it happen for less!HeheThanks for any help!Regards,Kenny

bro, u can get a Garmin gps for 1k+ onli, no need to spend so much lah, save money mah. Nowaday money r hard to earn leh.

yeah, but that's external. This guy wants to use the existing factory-built screen and use it with GPS, which is possible. It wont cost 5 figures either.

Is there demand for this? If there is, I can try ask him

I heard it cost about RM5K for the modification by using the existing display. They will add in the DVD slot as well.

better to buy an external device..eg:garmin,holux..
cheaper and easier to use..

not necessarily easier to use. At least with the modification, you can still use your existing configuration, and use the remote to use GPS functions. It will look stock standard as if it came from the factory that way
