I'm not an unreasonable man... whenever I faced any kind of trouble, I would try to resolve the matter before taking any action. Being a businessman, I emphasis a lot on trust in any deal that I make. That is why I always think the best of people out there. But there were times when my trust had been capitalised... and I would become very upset that I would target those people. In a simple word, I can be your best friend, or even your worst enemy.FYI, I had already voiced out my dissatisfaction of being over-charged by more than 5-6 times than the market rate outside. So when I didn't get any explanation nor action, drastic action is the only option left. This is my first time owning a BMW, and that's why I didn't know anything about this car very well. I had a long conversation with Peter last Saturday regarding this issue. He'd informed me that Raymond had been receiving many calls from this customers on this matter, whether what I'd written here in this forum is true or not. Truth is, I had been dealing with the audio shop and not to him directly. I didn't even bother to call him personally to check. Let me set things straight here - Raymond has been helpful in upgrading the software for my car despite of having so many cars to fix that day. As I'm from outstation, he had tried his best to accommodate my inconvenience, and slot my car in front of those which were there earlier. My side of story is that... I'd called up and requested for satisfactory explanation. so Peter called and talked to Raymond. Instead of being defensive, Raymond should have looked into this matter. Out of rage, the thread was posted even before Raymond could get back to me.Therefore, I sincerely apologise to Raymond for making such a hasty decision. I am just merely stating out my experience but never consider the consequence. Raymond, if you are seeing this, I hope this clarify everything. I don't wanna affect your business because of what I've written. Hope you put yourself in my shoe and look from my point of view. Believe me, I'd given a lot of thoughts on this.I join this forum to make friends, not enemies. Bottom line is - I"M SORRY!

Bravo , takes a strong man to say the magic word...

Thule, it takes courage to admit one has made a mistake.

You have done well. So far I have not heard any customers being cheated or conned by Raymond. As for his charges being expensive, that is very subjective. It all boils down to the level of service being offered.

Cheers :)

This episode shows that the club forum carries weight in whatever feedbacks coming from the members.... However, it is a double-edge sword, so it can backfire too if you do not use it wisely...

Well said Bundy. How nice if the club has more people like Thule.

Thule, its good that you have posted your retraction. However, I feel more 'damage control' has to be done on your part. May I suggest to work with "LEE36328" and "B33mEr" and have a heart-to-heart talk with Raymond. Share your retraction writeup and hope it will reconcile matters....

Next, channel your wrath on your audio guy for the bloody inconvenience and embarassment he has out you thru. Suggest to put up the name of your audio guy to ensure closure in this case.

Just my opinion...

Thule ... it's good that you admit your mistake but your reasoning still perplex me. Anyhow well done nonetheless.
