hi all,To all bmw m20 masters out there,i'd like to know has anyone ever lower their engine compression ratio before?please share your experience with me i'd like to lower the compresion ratio of my engine from standard 9 to 8(to suit 9 psi/app 0.6 bar of boost). I'm thinking of replacing the head gasket from the standard 1.3mm thickness up to 2mm thickness will that be sufficient? or do i have to fabricate a thicker metal gasket? i'm trying to do this in a very economical way :lol: .Thanks all.
