Question on Production Date

Hi all - I'm thinking of getting a CBU unit and have some questions. There is a unit available now, with the production date listed as Q1 2014. If I dont take this one, then the next shipment would be in Mar/Apr 2015.

2 quick questions: -
1. The production date for the Mar/Apr 2015 batch would be 2015? (e.g. Jan/Feb?)
2. Would it be advisable to wait until then to get a 'fresh new' car? Or get the existing available one which is 7 months old? I'm just abit cautious about getting the unit that's been lying around for a few months.

Any advice from the experts here would be much appreciated!

Is this a new car from Auto Bavaria?

Doubt a March/April car would be Jan/Feb car. It'll most probably be oct/nov/dec car when you consider the timeframes that the car needs to go through i.e exports, shipping, customs etc before it can be delivered to you

The 2014 is a brand new car. Manufacturing date states April 2014.

For the Apr 2015 car, I'm told it would be a Jan 2015 production, not 2014.

From your reply seems it takes 5-6mths to ship a car? That long meh?
