Purchasing a E46 318Ci. First time BMW owner need some wise advice! =)

mine completed around 2.5 hours, arrived at 11.30am and done by 2pm.

only 2 people working on the car and i would say pretty efficient.

weel bro, i was driving a 4 318i year 2005, and now my car is at the workshop, reason? the engine is sxck! trust me, buying a double vanos type is better than this, i have bought this car at year 2009 at 126k, and i spended more than 20k for repairing, ya, listen carefully, it's REPAIR, not upgrade anything. Even my sxcker workshop told me that engine is not spoiled and buying a 6k of sensor to change, finally he said that i have to change the engine, i taking the decision that burn that 6k and spend another 15k for total convertion to 2.5cc.

Remember, 6 cylinder is mature than 4 cylinture for BMW tech, my friend which is a used car salesman told me the same thing, this batch of E46 which is 2.0cc, is buring your pocket but paying for nothing.

I agree with Jerry... U cant beat the M54 variant... anyways, if ure buying a conti... my rule of thumb; buyer reviews the owner... let the mechanic review the car.
