hi bro thule, sorry late reply. yeah complete ECU remap (engine now more power liao) + CCC upgrade. weee...mine is V31.5 and he told me tat so far most of market only have V28 or V30 only. im not sure if im lucky or been guinea pig for V31.5. between i done it in JB, tun aminah. anyway bro thule, hope i answer to ur question. lol....go and goreng tat audioshop again.

The Progman doesn't include CCC swap... if yours is v28, you should have the Aux In in your i Drive... so update is not really necessary if you plan to install DVD player or GPS... all you need is an interface and wah lah...

Bro Erest... try to read the thread "Quad EXhaust + CCC"... I'd done mine without swapping CCC... only add interface and then install Garmin GPS Navigation system, Kenwood DVD Player and Reverse Camera

ok all, i thought of sharing this threads by having every1 here to share with their experience on things like how much are you charged for your e60 reprogramming and for how long? well let me start first

i had mine reprogramming done in JB and its cost me RM350 with 6hours times on it.

RM350 / 6hours = RM58/hr even proton charge more than that for labor. how they gonna make enough to cover their investment in equipment & knowhow? is it even possible that someone want to modify the electronics of an e60 knowing that the risk of a malfunction would cost tens of thousands? hmmm...pls share the contacts here bro

sorry i may have been left out the scene for a while but last (few months ago) i was quoted to get my AUX opened is around RM300

I have checked with Tokyo Motor in Penang. They said the cost for reprogramming is about RM800. Later I called Lee Motor Alot Star, he said only RM100+... wonder why so cheap.. I think just b'cost they took more than RM40K from my pocket already

Programming will take only abt 3 to 4 hours on a vehicle , other than that its bullshit , and to do a sofware update on a vehicle the payment is not more than rm200 more than that its bullshit also , so dont get cheat with those people that claims to be BMW speacialist , no one can be claimed as BMW specialist , bmw has new things to learn everyday and its neverending system and technology ... aite chill mates
