The first 1 hr, everyone gungho and can't wait to go onto the track.. After that, most either letting the car rest or they got enuf track time for the whole year and decided to go easy.. hahaha..

That's always the case even for open track day.. U might get 3 full hours but not everyone or car can tahan the whole duration.. So wanna get some nice piece of the track, do it after the 1st hour... u'll get ample space.

Adam's CSL totally outclass everyone else on the track. I was in Redd's Fiat Coupe and the CSL blew by us, then slowed down.. We were wondering why, then we saw the red Audi S3 go by us and the CSL, and Adam gave chase. After toying with the S3 who was pushing it to the limit (fishtailing under braking in turn 14), Adam got bored, he swung out and left it to smell the dust from the CSL. Redd and me just shaking our heads in envy hahaha.

Yep the orange rims CSL was indeed awesome... I was maxing it out when Adam effortlessly swift pass me......

Well I'm much further down the food chain, cos I was sweating bullets taking one of the turns when your JCW stormed into my rearview mirrors and then just blew by me! Such cute nimble cars which zip around the turns effortlessly making everyone else look bloated and clumsy around the corners in Sepang.

It's like driving a go-kart bro - just throw the car into the corners, hold it right and it keeps the line firm....

so am I expecting to see you driving one soon? :top: If u thinking of a small hot hatch, I think you won't be disappointed with the JCW... maxing the car out is real fun dude....

Hahahaha... funny you should ask. I'm thinking of replacing my SmartforFour 1.5 with the impending VW Scirocco a.k.a. The Rock but only after I take you on with it at the upcoming Gymkhana.

E46F and I were just talking about whether the Club can organise another track day for all BMW forumers. It would be fun (and beneficial) to include the Minis too so that both clubs can meet the numbers to make this possible and hopefully, get BMW Malaysia and Mini Malaysia to sponsor, heh.

haha... the car was build for handling bro... all needs to be done with that nimble thing is learn its boundaries... and you're set from there....

I can't stand taking on these guys on track cos to them, the "racing line" is like a 4-lane autobahn. I have experienced this first hand being taxi-ed in Eeric's Mini which used to terrorise the bigger supercars in Sepang.

MINI Malaysia organised their 2nd SPEEDMINIA event on 19 July 2009. It'll be great to have a joint BMW-MINI event at SIC.
