I think there are many "Raymond" among us, can they just go there and kepoh? Gate crash? Last minute entry? Sign the "drive-at-your-own-risk" letter on the spot and pay up on the spot.. more entry will benefit the "organiser"and participants because entry fee will dilute accordingly and refunded as agreed..

Unless there are safety concern that participant need to pay for additional insurance which is not possible last minute and so forth.. still kepoh should be possible, leaving our cars outside the track..

Just a thought. I might be able to sneak out of office and go there kepoh in office attire..

I want to get closer to the "ice cream".. :wink:

Yes. That was me! Having lunch with colleagues. No porky in Cyberjaya, so have to go Puchong.

Can I enter the pit area with my car even though I am not a participant, just a spectator. If this is ok, I'd like to be there and see the fun from the pit. For a change it will be good!

Important reminders
safety first
this is a track day, not a race day.
No helmet and/or no proper shoes = no driving.
No speeding in pit area. Max speed 60 km/h.
When in doubt, slow down.
Obey track marshall at all times.
Ensure car in good condition. Any leaks on track will cause red flag = wasted track time.

Support/services included for this Track Day:
1)Track Marshalls
2)Emergency Medical support
3)10 Pits - use accordingly.
4)Secure room to store your personal items removed from car.

Schedule
1300 to 1400 - > Registration
a)Please park your cars at car park before pit entrance.
b)Register at the designated area - small covered area just before car park.
c)SIC indemnity form must be signed by Driver AND passenger (if any).
d)Wrist tag will be issued to Driver - one per driver only.
e)Drive and position car in pits.
f)Remove items not required from car and place in secure room.

1400 to 1430 -> Drivers Briefing
a)Carried out by SIC staff.
b)All drivers must attend.
c)Based on attached Rules & Regulations.

1430 to 1500 -> Driver’s Preparation
a)Check your cars to ensure all in proper running order.
b)Remove items not required from car and place in secure room.
c)Group photo - TBA

1500 to 1800 ->

Track Session


1800 onwards -> Restoration
a)Clean up any mess left behind.
b)Don’t forget to collect your personal belongings.
c)Drive safely home. It’s not a controlled environment anymore.

Hence, the requirement for more track days..hehe..


Note: We will be taking photos of each Driver&Car for our database. Please see us if your respective photo has not been taken anytime before you leave the event.

1upAutoSpa will be sponsoring some drinks and bananas.. they will setup a table for the drinks and also to introduce their services.. However , you are of course welcomed to Bring Your Own Food and Beverages.

Actually , this track day were supposed to be limited to 30 pax only. However , due to first time ORGYnising , we misunderstood when it was said MIN 30 pax.It actually means 30 pax minimum to have it on which means must have 30 pax but we thought minimum means NOT LESS.. hence we limited it to 50. Thinking to reduce the spread out cost. However Aman found out that what they meant was just that. 30!! However after some discussion, Kumar was very generous and VERY understanding (very nice guy) to allow 50. and due to some miscalculations ( not receiving forms but only payments ) made the last count 58 again after consulting on the generously kind considerations of KUMAR.. And after that there were still calls to participate . It breaks my heart to turn them down. Sorry guys.. This being the first time organising , we do not want to overstay our welcome with Kumar & be seen as taking advantage of his KINDNESS. Hence some of you were asked to call Kumar personally to ask for leniency.. As such, after all that confusion , FINAL count is 58.

Dont worry guys.. to those who didnt have the chance to join this one , please do ensure that we have your details for us to contact u for future track days.. we will be organising more track days for our enjoyment. We are not doing this for profit AT ALL.. just spreading out the cost of having fun. Even I and Aman pay the same amount as u guys and NOT excluded.

To other BMWCLUBMALAYSIA citizens and anyone who wants to kaypoh kaypoh , please do come.. entrance is through the pit entrance , if coming from Masjid KLIA side , when u reach the traffic light at the Sepang track , turn LEFT and after several hundred meters , turn Right to enter straight thru to the pit access . there are parking spaces behind the pits. Entry is FOC.. no charge.. Passengers are allowed in the track (taxi ride) but u will have to sign the SIC's indemnity form and have proper attire including helmet.

Btw - would also appreciate if you could kindly lay out the process of collection of the access payment. I believe everyone paid RM400, but given its 58 particpants now the cost would be around RM207/person (12000/58) - pls confirm if I've got the numbers correct here? On the track day, who do we meet, which location and what time? thanks mate....

wow this is frustrating...i reg my name and i couldnt arrange for the payment in time due to work travelling and was removed from the list without any message or alert...on the phone, i was told u close it at 50 pax but now another 8 extra...dissapointing...anyway it is my fault since i could make the payment in time...
