I recently have some problem with power window, where my rear both windows can not be operated, guess what, some say maybe the fuse, other mechanic think it is the motor, or the cable. I went to this shop (MS Motor) in Chan Sow Lin (along Tun Razak towards Sg Besi), introduced by my close friend as one of the best, he open up the whole window panel inside the door, and confirm the motor is not running though you can hear the click, and he then open up more inside to manually moving the window glass, and then knocking on the motor after a few attempt the window is back to operations, the same also to other side. He said this is due to the window never being used for a long time, and the whole thing is sticking together. The point is most mechanics will say this is the motor problem and will need to replace, and cost is more than RM800 per window, but this guy do his best and he is not even want to take my money for what he did, that make me feel real bad, what a SERVICE!! So, if you have some problem with your Bimmer, I am more than happy to recommend this guy. I think he deserves our member notice! Thanks. I just save Rm1600..... and feeling so great.. and knowing such a mechanic put me sleep well.. at night... Rgds, Zank

I would like to share my experience too.

BMWong at Cheras helped me with my E36's problem recently and didnt take a single cent.

The E36 was vibrating and also its hard to start...

Suspect problems are

1. Fuel Rail
2. IVC
3. Fuel Pump
4. Fuel Filter
5. Engine mounting
6. Crank Sensor
7. Starter
8. weak battery

trouble shooting ...

He open up my fuel pump and plug in one of his to test..
Open the IVC and AFM.. serviced and cleaned
Checked vacuum hose
Plug in his crank sensor
Plug in a new battery

From there...
solution are

1. earth wire from battery is loose
2. vacuum hose are cracked

My problems solved and it took him 7hours to trouble shoot.. no charge at all!!! I feel so bad.

He only request me to have my car back for service.. and have a few wear and tear parts to be replaced. He said I am lucky that he is not too busy then.. (Wed)

I am not the only guy who benefit from his kindness but many E36 owners... as I can see a few bimmersclub members there too.
