but still lacking the knowledge of a good mechanic and place in klang valley where i can do regular service.

I hear a lot that many complaints their GB given up after ATF change, can it because of wrong spec of ATF used?

Hi Sifus,
Just wanna join in the conversation since im also looking for E46,
1) Is it Ok to change the ATF?, i read somewhere its a lifetime thingy.
2) Whats the mileage interval of change?50k kms? 100k kms?
3) Can we check (DIY) the condition of the ATF? What to look for, color?odor?
