Pillowball mount for e36

Has anyone installed pillowball mount for e36? I have a few friends who did this for e34 because you get +ve camber after lowering your car. I was told by the mech that for e36 this is not so much of an issue. Is this true? Btw I'm using height adjustable coilovers.

There's one I know installed and driven on sepang.... Custom made

actually all I know are custom made, just not sure whether it helps for e36.
