ok i found out some thing new (or maybe im late to know this )e36 can actually do alighment for the rear side , i all the while my tire shop and other tire shop said "bmw car rear alighment cannot do punya " that day i went to a alightment shop in OKR he said can do wan , then i was "sure ka " if can that will be great !coz my rear tire really bad makan inside of the tire . in the end he really show me how he do it . actually the car rear can adjust the camber and the toe also. that is great ! :yahoo: hope for those who dont know this may help hahaha

Technically, multi-link rear suspension is usually camber and toe adjustable... Lancer/Colt/Wira/Satria/Putra is one good example. So, the one on the E36 (and others using multi-link) should too... just got mine, haven't played enough yet to figure out the alignment adjustment...

A bit late, but welcome to the party.

And in future, you should stay away from the alignment shop that said "BMW car rear alignment cannot do punya...", don't you think so?

Guys, have said this before, but this episode shows that it is worth repeating here....

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CAR MAINTAINED/SERVICED BY PEOPLE WHO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.

OTHERWISE YOUR BEAUTIFUL PERFORMANCE MACHINE WILL BE COMPROMISED

It may seem to cost more, but in the long run it's cheaper than forking out money to correct some idiot's mistakes...

P/S - Vincent, you should attend more TT's and talk to the old cocks there... this was a basic item I'm surprised you did not know...

Vincent, Jsen,

Nice to bump into you guys at the Kee Hin alignment shop today.

Glad to see you guys found the shop too - Ming is very good at what he does.

Alignment is one thing often under-estimated by car owners.

Correct alignment can do wonders for the car.

Your topic has been towed to the appropriate section, in the future please refer to the main forum page for guidance.

I need your help, where is the shop that can do nice job, money and quality wise. ....err other than old klang road mention in the last post.

i went there last week after vincent post directions

my e36 lowered by 70mm from original so camber is over -3 deg

they can only reduce to -1.9 deg to avoid tyre rub

toe was also -ve

so after camber and alignment adjust he asked me take car for a
spin and tell him what i feel

vincent is right
" ... yeah that is my first time , feel the "real" alighment man ..."

i thanked ming but this guy who attended to me said he's not
ming - he's keong.

thanks also to vincent, lee, jsen.
