Looking at yr massive rebuilding of the E30 the car deserve better engine at least M50. Never mind if it takes longer time, money & effort, at least you'll be happy to keep it for long time.:top:

thanks for the encouragement bro.. i've made up my mind to keep this one period correct. my next E30 however, i'm certain to plonk in an M54B30 with 6-speed manual :top:
know of any late-model coupe with sunroof that's for sale..?

Agree with Mizhan, we should all have a show car that is factory specced and one bruiser that is only limited by your wallet...:)

Rub-down of primed surface

rust issues aside, this procedure is the most critical towards the outcome of the painting exercise. here the surface is diligently sanded into a perfectly smooth surface. errors at this stage will be very apparent after car is painted.

once the body-primer covered surface is deemed smooth and problem-free, it'll be ready to receive the paint-primer.

That would be a dream ride and a real pocket rocket with 300NM on a E30 :D

no ejat.. he's wondering why his old man is crazy to spend so much time & effort on a car twice his age, instead of buying a 335i coupe.
