bro,
Is that the squeaking noise you are refering to? Try spraying some silicon on the window sills/rubber. It works for mine!

so went to a another mechanic today, just let him know the problem,he open my door panel, then tear off also the rubber which hold the side window, found that there was three screw there, then he just screw it tidy and then put some oil between the door and the rubber,as he said the original rubber come with some "oil"..then after several years the "oil" dissappered so that the noise come,so the result was after all the thing done..the sound gone!cost me rm 60.00..it works!before that i was decided to replace the rubber but a lot of people said that the rubber was costly and then the sound will appear after several months...so to the bimmer here if u meet the same problem, just told ur mechanic to fix in this way..save cost..this my experience to share..hope can help u guys..

thanks for the great informations bro...i will try it myself over this weekend....hope it work....thanks.

bro if u still have the wind sound while driving after fixing ur window. check undercarriage for missing covers. like the one for air vent near tyre well. even missing jackpoint rubber causes wind sound inside cabin.

jack point cover

bro, the jack point cover can be easily sourced out from e.g Bavarian Auto?

geoffrey,
any chance u can describe in more detail where exactly r the 3 screws? thanks

i have taken out the door panel and rain barrier in order to find the source of rattling noise, no it is not the 3 plastic plug that geoffrey mentioned, anyone actually menaged to solve the mystery?
