maybe your door panel not tight enough after they remove/loosen for tint installation.

Check the clip inside the door panel.

Hi,my mech already re-fix the door panel again, but still the same problem, ai-yah no more fun to drive my e39 ,noisy in my cabin.i will try to ask my mech to re-fix the window rubber ,aluminum trim as well.

this is just my 2 cent.

Maybe the glass is become thicker than before and the gap between rubber inside the door frame is ngam2 for the glass. So, when you close the windows, it not close 100%.

So, if true that was the prob, go ask the tint installer to cut a bit of film layer at the top of the glass (about 3-5 mm). So maybe the window can close 100%.

This is just my suggestion coz i've experience like this b4 when installing 6mil security film. Sorry if it not work.

Apa jenis film tu? Security film? Tebal?

Still like what teknokrat said, the installer shall have left few mm at each side so it does not affect the window guide operation.

Hahh? Tint job request to remove door panel meh?

Check the glass alignment. If not properly fitted the sound will be heard in the cabin> when tinting windows they remove the window glass completely. The alignment may be a little off ans the glass is not fitted tightly.

Depend on car. Some car just need to loosen a little bit of door panel and some car need to remove the door panel. Thats just an easy job. So far from my experience, BMW car has no prob when installing tint. The hardest glass to tint is from Peugeot.

I never see anyone remove the window to install tint..:stoned:

According to them, they just loosen the door panel, remove the inner window aluminum trim and rubber to fix the tint.
