(owner told 1995cc but when look at grant its 1895cc)323i - rm 83k, hamann 18", 2.5cc, friend of mine with good maintenance by bmw mechanic, he just changed radiator, air cond cooling coil, brake disc, belting, mint condition interior.need sifus and expert advice

Welcome bro. Wow, indecisive in making a decision on which car to go for huh? Well, no service record, means the owner might have probably sent it to mechanics outside the normal dealer such as AB etc. Since you're more aware of the 323i and what your friend has done to the car, wouldn't that look like a safer bet to make compared to the 318i?

bro...if you are looking for e46....bro InitialM has the most awesome e46 of all....he wants to sell his...can check for his nick in the member list...and he is one of the active OM here...good luck for the searching

Thanks Eggie & Bob. Is that true 318i 1.9cc maintenance cost lower than 2.5cc ? I prefer to use with 18" rims. will there be enough power for 1.9 to carry 18" rim ?

in a beemer there is no such word of low maintainance ...from the smaller range to the highest range ... i've yet to see that ...

my cost of maintainance has given me more holes in my pocket ...but it's fun to have air coming from your pocket holes :)

anyway welcome to BMW club malaysia

huaaa...dont pray me for that, thanks iceman

welcome to our forum. my advice is stay away from 4 cylinder E46.. very slow lah :p

I have tested 323 2.5cc & 318 1.9cc, 2.5 of course acceleration very good plus feel the engine less burden. 1.9cc sounds like normal 4 cylinder cars but power wise still good pick up wih 18" rim, but dont have the chance to test it on highway.

need to ask old timer, sifus, expert : its kind a hard to get loan for year 2000 cars, any suggestion

Welcome..welcome..

It's a world of difference between a 4 pot & a 6 pot...

You won't regret choosing a 6 potter..of course must fit in your budget lah..:D

Cheers :)

thanks for the invitation gilajazz.

JFT63, still remember my post arrr..anyway already have 320i double vanos. First thing in my mind is to change the expansion tank which I already did today.

After a month having E46 4 doors, now fall in love with E46 ci. Reason coz ci easy to make up and any type of sport rim will look nice. I still figure out ahich rim really look nice on 4 doors
