Best is to get an M50 prep E30, then stroke it to glory.....i know few m50s that has done that way, and still paying a 2.5 lit road tax

When are you moving back to Malaysia? Would you be interested in a 87 2 door m50 prep vader smoked 5 lug 6 speed E30?

Welcome to the club bro :D Your E30 is pretty sweet ... Hope to see it here soon :top:

You got to know how to take care a stroked motor in order to get the maximum benefit. 'cos once you stroked it , it is delicate, but yeah it is a another way to go.
Here in the US not many ppl prefer doing it 'cos it is much cheaper to swap a s50/52 motor or boost the engine.

I'll be moving to M'asia this December.
I would be interested in a e30 coupe rolling shell which has no accidents or rust at all, preferably shell with euro trim and MTech kit . I am planing to bring in my spare complete S52 with the tranny.

yeah, make sense to plunk the whole engine in.
But in terms of legality, it would be wise to just maintain a 2.5 lit engine and have a sleeper 3.2 stroker under the hood
I have done my research on the 2.9L stroker conversion and i believe power output would be as good as the 3.2, plus the higher compression would have a better effeiciency due to higher octane fuels available here in Msia.

As for delicateness of the stroker engine, unless you do track duties, its as good as a standard car in Msia

BTW my e30 is at the moment is the ONLY e30 in M'sia with a 6 speed box.....:top: the other e30 6S has gone into a very deep hibernation mode....

pm me if you are keen on my car, it fits your criteria about 99%

OK I was in KL for past 3 weeks and spotted so many e30's around TTDI. Coudn;t believe there are so many of them around. I rarely see e30's around in my neighborhood in NJ. Most of the e30's I've seen in KL were all 4-doors, any reason as to why M'asians like 4-door cars so much?
How hard is it to find a decent 2-door e30 shell?
I saw one garage had an abandonded 2002 shell and few more e30's along with an orange color e28 with a hidious body kit fitted around TTDI.

anyway, trip was a blast and I went to Karanmbunai also, man that place is like heaven.
