Hi all!!!! i am new member to join BMW CLUB.. i am a interest for BMW car, some question to ask u all senior.... erm... i scare u all will laught me!!! = ="actually i am a junior forman,i work on my cousin work shop , it's a specialist repair BMW...erm.. something askingis how to classify the type of BMW car me already dicussed long timemy meanse classify is the...e.g. is like 3.1.8 ppl say is e36 but 3.2.5 oso e36 how to classify leh??!!!! all senior pls gv me a idea leh!!!! >

hello bro..

Im not a senior.. but I think I can help to answer ur questions.. hope seniors can correct me if I'm wrong..

318 is the series & type of engine
e.g 1.9 liter

e36 is the type of chasis / body
e.g e36 is 3 series & got few type of engine capacity like 318 (1.9/2.0 liter) or 325 (2.5 liter), as for 5 series body type is e34 or e39.. engine type is 525 (2.5 liter 5 series engine)..
