Hi all broos, wana ask regarding our keys..
the key come in 4 unit per set rite? 2 main unit, 1 service key and 1 wallet key.
just to clarify...

Hai kby*88*.....I think that is if you buy new car...If you buy recond car, than is much depending on your luck... My friend buy recond E46 320i, he got complete set. Me and 1 of my friend also bought E46 320i, but we're not that lucky, we only get 1 remote key and 1 wallet key....

Hope this answer your question....

Not if you use the key on the door handle and turn it extra (45 deg). :listen:

This depend on what year is your model.

From year 2001 till 2002 - 4 keys

From year 2003 till 2004 - 3 keys.

erm..i dont really get u..what do u mean by extra 45? normally we turn 90 degrees only rite? so do u mean if we turn 135 degrees, the alarm won't sound?

Bro, it depends on what spec is your car.

What spec is your E46 model and year?

Anyway, will verify the above. i.e. whether Valet key can de-activate the alarm if the master remote have set the alarm..

Normally, I would think the alarm would go off.

The valet key is meant to be use to start the car and lock the door manually. I would it is sensible that you pass the valet key to the car jockey to park your car. Normally, you would stop the engine, remove your master key and hand over the valet key to the car jockey. You do not activate the alarm.

Quite an interesting question..
