New Fan Looking for an E46 Help Needed

Hi Everyone,I've been riding for the past 5 years till I sold my R6 off and now I am planning on getting a car,My first car.I have seen quite a number of posts for the E46 for sale. I am wondering as the price range is from 46-50k and I am really keen on getting one.http://www.mudah.my/Bmw+e46+1+9+new+facelift-20408798.htmThat's the unit I am really interested in but I I have not seen the car yet.The dealer mentioned that I could throw in a do of 10k with an installment of 700 plus per month for 7 years.I would like to know what's the maintenance like as I will be using it a daily vehicle from Damansara to KL to and from my office.I am still new to this forum and I hope you guys could help me out with some tips.Thanks everyone.

hey welcome to the club bro. and if i am not mistaken, you just got to do an intro in the Intro Section. but just to let you know, E46 is a wicked choice! for the 6 cylinder if you have the choice, you will love it even more! as for the monthly instalment of RM700++ for 7 years, wowwww! that is super good! also another advice, once you get your hands on the E46, reserve some good cash to replace worn out parts etc.

I would agree with bro suubsonique, try to go for 6 potter...320 or 325 if possible 330..i personally tested the 4 potter and 6 potter and the feel is totally different..just test out a few units before buying..try to find one with service records..might be higher priced but at least u know the previous owner took good care of her..

Bro, knwing ur moving on fr a R6, you will hate the 1.9, u gonna feel like in a kapchai in terms of g forces haha... I believe to enjoy the full package of an e46, minimum req is a 325. gd luck

By the way jay, if u r looking for similar performance as your R6, 330 manual or SMG is the way to go. For more fun pop a supercharger you will end up paying for lots of AES tickets. Cheers bro.. Best of luck in your search

Bro AS, yea most prolly expried COE. Came across an E60 2007 530d for just RM50k and for an additional RM10k, can get it registed in Malaysian..wow the conman world is impressive.

Singapore cars? with RM10k can get it registered? hehe that is not gonna happen bro. one cannot register/convert Singapore registered car and make it legal in Malaysia.

mr.Jaysixxer..., im using 320i.... upgraded from sm4.... still do not feel satisfied with the engine performance... but i've tried the 325..... its so much different... n u can get better consumption also.....
330 will be great.... but have to pay high roadtax....
its my opinion.... e46 is a nice car to drive.....
