any news about the new upgraded version? what should be the difference btw wince5 and wince 6, can we already update the previous version to wince6 firmware or do we need the new hardware also? where can i find the new device wince6, i'm still waiting my ordered device to be in the stock till now, so i may pick the new updated one if it's better, any thoughts plz

You have to understand that the HU Player have 2 motherboard. The first motherboard is for the camera function, DVD Player, I-bus interface
and the Navigation hardware.
The second motherboard consist of the ARM CPU (basically a miniture computer) for the Navigation function running on Wince.
Depending on the hardware used, the appropiate Wince version will be installed. Hence, when the CPU is upgraded (faster CPU),
then running Wince 6 would be better (possible more RAM as well).

Because the navigation software like Igo or Papago etc are running under wince, you can run other software like WolfNcu to
emulate another sub-menu software like Window Explorer, games, PDF reader, etc.

Since the upgraded version is out, better to check with your supplier whether he is supplying you with the latest model.

I was supplied with an older version which cannot interface with my CD Charger. The supplier was willing to upgrade for me
for a small charge to enable my CD Changer to work with the HU.

yup a bit lag. i own garmin as well buat garmin much better than this one. The most important my sound syatem better than stock cassete player.

I've seen some of the review from Youtube but no sure what is the diff between Dynavin and HLG.
Overall, i like the functionality, like hands-free, phone and GPS.
Furthermore, currently having problem with the CD function, couldn't detect any of the CDs out of sudden. Plan to have the existing one replaced. I'm not sure if im able to attend tonight's TT, prob will be late.
