Hey guys, I would like to change my E60 LCI M-Sport absorbers so I have the following options:1. Koni Yellows2. OEM Sachs/Boge M-SportsWhich one do you think would be a better choice? I'm alright with the original suspension and definitely not into stiff rides (I take corners at 20 km/h only). I often heard about Bilstein but I believe they are very stiff compared to original?

Go back to Boge M sport if you can. Please personally ensure parts numbers are the same with your ori ya. Never trust the workshop

Try call bomin or stuggard or suan huat for price comparison ya. You will be surprised to save few hundreds... Can buy us TT :)

So big difference? Haha. Actually who is normally cheaper?

Not sure sometimes a is cheaper sometimes b or sometimes c. Depending on demand they receive.

I'm also interested to change the E60 absorber of mine; would really wanna try M-Sport as mine is a standard absorber; any idea what spring to match with Boge M-Sport replacement? Test ride in Bilstein but find it too hard for my liking, always think BMW strikes a very good balance with the M-Sport absorber.

For 3rd party; kind of steers towards Koni FSD but couldn't find the supplier locally; any chance anyone here knew where can I get a set of FSD?

Cheers

I have actually enquired about Koni FSD earlier but it seems that this absorber does not suit our road condition (so many potholes). Therefore they recommend Koni Yellow instead. If you insist, you can get Koni FSD from the distributor in Batu Caves (forget the name but I can check it out for you). The price is also quite expensive since it's FSD :)

Hokomoto Racing, Batu Caves

Checked with Hoko but only yellow sport, four absorber without spring is RM2950 (if I heard correctly) with installation, they dun have FSD and said its too soft for E60.

If going for Boge/Sach Msport replacement, apart from Msport spring which I do not have and they dun sell, any aftermarket spring that can suite?

You may look for the M-tech springs at any chop shops. They should have. Or else you may consider Eibach ProKit springs. But some say it's quite soft.

thanks, may be i should check whether can get some Mtech spring from chop shop; always think the original M-Sport is quite good balance.

Anyone know where I could get a set of sport spring (either Eibach or H&R) for E60 530d? I read around and the spring for diesel and petrol are different product number; appreciate if can point me to the right direction cheers

Ooi go titan lah.. No need do guessing game.. Other brand after buy.. If ngam u. ok. If not.. Sakit hati. At least titan u know for sure is correct. tune sampai ngam.. And serviceable.. Never ned to change.. Ever.

Most time if u heard anyone selling is because they are selling car so take out tomsell separate. Hardly hear anyone to sell because of upgrade.. And never because rosak.

i'm looking to change the absorbers for my e39 and taking this opportunity to change the spring as well. anyone know any shops in Klang Valley that carry Bilstein B12? tx a million.

i will recommend titan custom and use back your ori spring. Rm3600 with full customisation, adjustable height and fully servicable.. most important.. life time waranty as long as you don break it in accident
