need info-display panel

Hi..a. I want to figure out the prob. of the computer display panel (which should display the mileage/detecting the probs from the sensors etc.- it's below the km/h & rpm meter). It not readable,do i hv to change the display panel or the computer box or anything else? (But I believe it's the display prob)It's an X5 4.4(1st model)sport version. b. I assume that I hv to replace the display unit..so,is it available (new/used)? Need help from sifus here, it's not mine but somebody close..tq
