Salam and good day guys,I've just bought an e36 (manual). Some how the previous owner fitted the clutch pedal too near to the brake pedal.. My father nearly involved in an accident because he could not find the brake pedal, instead when braking, he press the clutch.. so i think i want to reposition the pedal asap.. So what is the proper distance between the clutch pedal and the brake pedal?Does the reposition job labor intensive? Any recommended workshop? How about the cost? any advice is very much appreciated... =) thanks

hi..

is the car a original manual car ? if yes, then it should be in the way..

if it was retrofitted, then it is problem..but, as i know, the clutch for the manual is a distance away and we can't fit a different clutch pedal, unless it's bolehland...

mine is a manual E36 coupe

For the first few months get used to it, BMWs pedals are quite near, most of the time I always step on the brake in the same time I step on the accelerator

make sure the carpet fitted properly too

btw, if u want, u can change the position of the pedals as u are now in bolehland:rock: find a boleh mechanic

i see.. actually the car previously was left hand drive, the previous owner converted it to right hand drive..

anyway boleh mechanic sound good..hehe
