U will have to run d newer boxes. 6 spd but have different parts. Plus like all newer cars, the ecu will need reprogramming. Pm me ur car details if u r really serious. Will check it out for you.

Don't get the getrag 220. Go for a zf 5 speed. There's a reason bmw used the zf on a 328i.

Or you can always opt for a e46 non M 6 speed box. Hehe
