Hello,Desperately need advise from you guy since I’m such a bimbo when comes to car.Had punctured tyre last 2 days ago and was assisted by NPE ronda who was kind enough to help brought me to the closest tyre shop. Seems like I drove over a nail and being a bimbo of course I didn’t realized about it until the tyre totally burst and idrive indicate that I have a puncture.Since it was after 8pm most of the shop closed, desperately I end up buying a 2nd hand Toyo tyre which is different from current Bridgestone that I’m using. So questions are:1. do I have to change the tyre now since it is from different brand ? 2. if change, I need to change both tyres right ?p/s I’m using a non RFT

although usable, it would be best to pair both tyres with the same type/model.

you can still walk/run with a sports shoe (left foot) and a working shoe (right foot), no harm. but may affect momentum (i think).

Agree with LiteBulb....keep one of the 2 different tyres as a spare. Get another tyre o make it a pair of the same type of tyre-best of all 4 tyres same brand and type. Has to do with tyre characteristics which will affect your drive and handling.

I am on Michelin Preceda on the rear and PS3 on the front, somehow handling feel also different.....It is best to have all the same brand and model. The tyres compound and side wall hardness is different on individual model.

Thanks all for the advise. Guess now i have to change the tyre then.

Another question. The meter and idrive still show puncture sign..i just need to send it to workshop to reset the system right ?? Is it ok to just leave it for a while since i'm quite busy with works no time to go workshop ? It wont effect anything right ?

sorry la guys, ths might looks like basis question to you but like i said in the intro i'm totally a dumb blonde when comes to car. appreciate all advise
