Hi All Forummer, Just seeking some honest advice.recently I went to Naza showroom, and particularly looking for a Naza bestari Sportivo.Have a thorough look on it BUT not test driving it. Of course it's a CBU peugeot, with naza badge on it. Here are some infos both from the salesperson as well as my own observation: 1. The interior is really neat and nice. (black and red) and feel comforting.Dashboard made from nice material and look exclusive too.2. Exterior look like 'ah beng' but still nice fitted with all the accessories etc.3. price OTR: RM 76,888.004. 1.4 CC, of course... now... Plan to get this for wifey, and waiting for bank approval next week. Y'know, bank is quite strict on car loan lately, so the chances are 50/50. I'v read thru many thread/forum about all this bestari sportivo, but most are rather 2-3 months old thread. So need some 'new' sincere advice on this: 1. Shall I go for it? 2. currently having 1 continental car and for the last 5 years, all are OK w/out major problem.3. Anyone have bought and use it for the last 2 months? It's better to listen to those who have bought and use it.4. My target is to have a compact and sporty look car, and have been surveying around many other models, but so far this Sportivo fulfill most of basic requirements.5. how about maintenance? It's NAZA after sales service is good? (I know many bad story about it, but maybe there's a light at the end of the tunnel?)6. Is there any 'bawah pokok' wshop you could go after the warranty expired? (I doing that for my current conti car where u can get cheaper labor with original parts from overseas, it still serve the purpose, I tell ya..).Thanks for the advice... In the meantime, I'm digesting more info from other part of this forum as well...Pls help me not to make a mistake by getting it :) For details: http://paultan.org/archives/2006/11/14/naza-206-bestari-sportivo-and-naza-sutera-sportivo-launched/ Afidie

anything Naza produces under license is best avoided at all cost.while the car might be a rebadged old model Peugeot, the support infra is still lacking compounded by the lacksaidal attitude of Naza service providers.

try do a search..u'll find many disgruntled owners with horrific accounts of their experiences..

don't say u were not forewarned..

bro... car is under powered and surely does not feel like a Peugeot 206!

Nice looking car though and with a custom WRC bodykit, the car will look awesome!

I'd rather get meself a neo or a sawi if u dun mind the 2 door. Subjective test shows that the handling is much better than this 206. But the interios looks much better.

the interior looks good, but actually has a very cheap, flimsy and plasticky feel.. for RM77,000.. i'd pay ever so slightly more, and go straight for the honda city i-dsi. super reliable, extremely well built, 16 km per litre, and a bigger boot than a 5 series.

Thanks, guys.

Yeah, still thinking about it now...It's tempting to get the conti feel with that price...but I need to extra careful bf commit to it.

will survey around more..Keep on posting, guys....

Agree wt supergrippen, try to avoid naza car. I think satria neo suit yr wifey and has conti feel though. If not get her a bimmer:D

afidie, just thought of sharing this with you, not sure if you're interested. well Cycle& Carriage is having a stock clearance of its SMART models. they are really slashing the prices down. the 1.3 Smart For Four is now going for only rm64k, while the 1.5 variant is retailing at just rm76k. the original prices were 110k and 120k respectively. heard stock is currently very limited so you should check it out if you fancy this car.
take note this is the For FOur i'm talking about, not the tiny For Two. (btw they are giving discounts on For Two as well) cheers........ and btw, i would suggest against the naza.
