Not sure about that bro..i i think it could not work cause they need to verify your ID first. i've got mine from Germany straight. the hassle is that you have to provide the documents and wait for longer period of time. as long as you still got your 1st key than better take the long safer route.

that key from ebay is just a casing. U need to program the key based on ur car key memory setting. It will cost u alot. I ask M1 before, it cost RM1000 +-. If im to replace it, i will definitely go to reliable workshop. In case anything happen can refer back to the workshop.

Last time i checked with SA, RM980 for 1 pc. A copy of Car Reg. card & Police report stating that u lost your key somewhere...

I just got mine from AB few months back bout RM1.1k plus delivery from Germany.

Ya AB charge RM870 for the key and RM30 for the courrier service to Germany. It take only 2 days to delivery.

Yep I second that, got mine too from AB for RM1k. Better not to take chances getting from unknown places.

i got mine from AB too cos guaranteed will work and no worry about the cut and key not looking original... fussy mar. agree with all recommending best go with more expensive, longer and safer route with key. btw, what happened to your key? lost or rubber/remote buttons (e39/46 old design) already crap?

My car come with single key only, so i need to make another 1 for spare. The used car dealer which i bought my car can't get the other set of key from the previous owner, so he pay me bck $300 and ask me to make by myself.

same reason i got mine from AB. but dealer gave me 400 iirc to make another key since not able to get spare from previous owner.
