N42 is fxxked!

hi guys,I think i am done with the N42 engine.The problem is the engine jerks around 800-2000 rpm and when it reaches 2000rpm you can feel the power coming.Anything below 2000 rpm the engine hasnt got any power.ie, your head moves forward but the car is still behind, when you press on the peddles to accelerate.I literally changed everything. You name it , ive changed it.Even Sungai Besi Auto Bavaria tells me to take it home forever!!!!INLET CAMSHAFT SENSOR is the code error....anyone knows whats wrong???? or experiencing the same problem?
 
Better u try at other mechanics..I am driving one and there is no problem what soever..many ppl complain of AB's workmanship quality..

camshaft sensor problem or maybe vvt servomotor problem. this is VALVETRONIC system
 
ive change everything.. from the servo motor, all the sensors and even i bought a whole engine from the replacement shop.
 
nope ... temperature is okay.....
i think its the whole cyclinder head...
might need to change the whole cyclinder head...
its making some weird noise now
 
With the amount of money spent and you still cannot get the car in good running condition, then it time to look for another workshop.

Try M1 at Segambut.

a brand new MAF sensor dude!
costs me rm 700.
changed the whole set of wiring and all the sensors..
changed the throttle body which costs me an arm.
changed the servo motor
changed all the sensor found INSIDE the engine.
i dont know la... seems like its fuxxked!

The above cost 35K???
 
alot other more shit i changed la... cannot remember
hey, do you guys know if the engine consists of an oil lubricant pump?
 
what happen to the original engine? didnt you get a mechanic to view the recond engine b4 the purchase?
 
still using the original engine.
the replacement engine is just to replace parts like cyclinder head, crankshaft and balancer.
the rest are ruined due to burnt engine.
hey, was wondering whether there is an oil pump in this engine.
figuring that its the oil pump that is not working hence causes no oil on the camshafts hence causes weird noise also causes low oil pressure hence causes loss of power???

OMG 35k?? How bro...you bough recon engine and transmission?

Mine cost me RM1.5k for the radiator hoses and RM6k for recon transmission!!
