My UDM

Hi guys & gals...Got my UDM in Novermbar last year..and joined as a forumerBeen reading most of the thread just to get more info and feedback from the sifus. I've been hearing a loud noise out of my engine especially at the steering pump. Then finally decided to do a check up on my UDM. Went to Ultimate Motorsports last Saturday and here's the bill just to share with you all.1. Vane pump - RM 1200.002. Pump hose tank (cooleroil) - RM 120.003. Power steering (intake manifold) - RM 180.004. Fluid tank - RM 125.005.P/pulley - RM 198.006. Hose clips 18-24 - RM 13.007. Hose clips 15-19 - RM 6.508. AC belt - RM 47.009. Fan belt - RM 99.5010. Steering rack (used) - RM 1650.0011. ATF shell - RM3012. Labour - RM130.0013. service tax - RM6.50Grand total - RM 3835.50Tested the car and no more noise from the steering pump. The mechanic tested the car and advise to change the brake disc to original BMW instead of the local one used by the previous owner. The airbags is also not functioning.Need to visit them again today. Will info again...:wink:

4. Wiper set - RM178.00

labour - RM150.00

Total - RM 1875.00

Last Friday on 20th Mar 2009

I was turning at the exit from subang parade to Sunway nearby Sek 19 intervals...suddenly i heard a tyre burst and the car skidded and drifting...i manage to control the car and stop at the side of the road. Lucky I was only driving at 80km/h..

I was with my wife and kids...Alhamdulillah nothing happens to them..

Got out of the car and saw this

The wishbone and rear lower arm bush give away and the tyre did not burst but bend into the body. Had to tow away and I called Kurnia Auto Assist and within half an hour they came and tow my car to the workshop.

They took out the tyres and replaced this two arm bush

Here's the damages
1. Guide link - RM 230.00
2. Lower Arm (rear) - RM330.00

Labour - RM150.00

Total - RM 710.00

Towing was free of charge..

Actually u not need to change the whole set of wiper, just change the blade is ok.

Hi! BMW7833, may I know how to change the wiper blade and where can I get them?

Buy at Bavarian Auto and fit it yourself. About RM120 for a pair..OEM Bosch. A simple clip to undo and you're done. No need tool (but clips maybe a bit tight..u may need a small screwdriver). Don't feel like getting your hands dirty?... my mechanic can do it all for RM130.

Yes, u can buy the wiper blade in everywhere..I am using DuraEdge.

Wah kinda scarry to look at the damage rear tyre /rod.. I am surprise that the part can pecah like that.. thank god you all are okay...
