More, please... more ....

I'm really feeling it, this Deep Sea Blue. I think it goes SO well with the sleek shape of the car!

so when are you going to put on the alpina stripes? thick/thin stripes?
personally i prefer the thin stripes..

I'm waiting for delivery of the deco stripe set from the UK. Should be the thin ones this time, and they're in silver. Hope they match the car well!

Man, I have to say it again... that Deep Sea Blue is DA BOMB!

Eggie, you are the man! Congrats on a BEAUTIFUL make over!

Wow! *jaw drop*

Can't wait to see it in da metal this Sunday...

I park far far away..... :D

The rear bumper as well?

Mine is one of the earliest E32s, so it doesn't come with colour-coded bumpers like Greg and Felix's E32s. I kept them in their original colour during the respray.

Dang, I wonder stripes should be DIY job or let the experts handle it..

Hehe, early morning mah, lazy to park properly. Don't really like to reverse out if possible :24:

Man, Bro Eggie - I have to take my hat off to you... amazing what a paintjob & a good polish can do. And, LOVE those rims - Alpina rules! Can't wait till you get your go-faster stripes down. The car is a real looker! Congrats & well done.

PS. Hope the car didn't overheat anymore, after you topped up the water level!

Eggie you need to wait for 2 months before detailing the car. Let the paint fully settled. This is what I've been told.

Hey Bad, you're right. Got tips from KC not to wax nor do any detailing for 90 days to let the paint cure.

The swirling looks really bad especially under broad daylight... :p

Guess I gotta bear with it for 3 months...

Thanks bro. Still one heckuva good looking car despite it's age. :)

Btw, the polishing resulted in the car being covered in swirls. It's very apparent under broad daylight. Simply dreadful but I can't do much about it cos I was informed that I need to let the new paint cure for at least 90 days.

Gotta be patient then. :)

Yes, letting the paint cure over 90 days is sound advice. I hope it isn't raining everyday in KL (over here in Singapore, every evening it POURS - so hard to get good sunshine). Once the 90 days are up, I reckon you'll be making a beeline to get that car rubbed up to shine!

Your car is a champion now...despite the swirl marks, it is still a headturner man..congrats

Thanks wobbles. Hmm, well it did rain heavily over the past few days. It looks cloudy as well on the horizon, despite it being a crazily hot Saturday afternoon. It pours too here, and with lightning, thunder, and even hail which befell USJ last weekend. Haha.

Yup, gonna get advice from KC bro and hope to attend one of his detailing sessions to pick up tips.
