Yes i did, a F02 730Li. I would say not much difference with the E66 but with a fiercer look and bigger kidney grill.

The market for 7 series is very limited. mainly on politicians, businessmen, senior corporate guys and those with drivers. that is why the used car market price drop like no tomorrow. compared to 3 series whereby the second hand market hold up very firm.

Young chap in twenties would not be suitable to drive a 7 series as most people will think he is driving his dad's car. So F10 is good choice for you i suppose.

I am 28 this year and hopefully in 5 years time, I can progress from F10 to a F02!

Wont mind being call Uncle or old dude, driving the 7 sili!

Frankly speaking, the feeling (phycologically) of driving the 7 is different from 5 (although i must agree the 5 manourvres better). U feel at the pinnacle of success.

Wouldnt mind a E32 730I( The V8 would do for me) in British racing green and Cognac leahter with Burr Walnut trim. 16 inch BBS RS would just be right!
No mod. Just plain old school BMW grace...

My friend in Singapore told me E66 740Li is also using inline 6 cylinders 3 litres engine like 730Li but with Turbo charger. i checked wiki-pedia no such information. i search the web and found some info which says 740 uses 4 litre V8 engine.
