imho, i'm not really into m3 pumped out guards look...cause the more pumped out u go...the bigger dish wheels u gotta get in order to accomodate the extra width...

unless u got 16 or 17 x 10JJ or similar...stick to this way...i would say use those money to buy dish wheels from germany...ie: BBS RS

Tom, the changes are a little too subtle. Took me a while to notice the rear 'widebody' treatment. Then again, it'll probably look even better if the colour of your car is darker. Fierce! :p

TOM,

The wide body is very nice.... this is my dream design... hahaha
as long as the rear bonnet maintain then its okie...
when u going to make it ???

Man you seriously are the king of photoshop!!
as nice as it is, i think you should leave the car the way it is.
the wide kit just makes it look like a M3 wannabe..

You might want to replace the MTEC kit with something else.... Rieger kit looks fierce but doubt you can find them here but if you can come up with a schematic for the kit, then Deva may be able to do something for you....

Honestly, Tom, the M look is just so boring. Of the various widebody looks I like the Rieger Infinity (I think that's the model) best. Either way though, getting your car fitted is gonna cost you a fortune...

Here's a clearer pic...

Rims are gonna be a problem too...unless there are spacers that broad...

Here's what I'd do if I had a an E30 and wanted to do a makeover. E30ers will no doubt be very familiar with this masterpiece. The owners is the mod of r3limited.com.

The M3 rear bumper and side skirts are so well-executed and subtle, I didn't notice it until I read the specs.

Same colour too, Tom ! :)

Apologies again for my crappy editing....

I think its achievable through fibre parts....the diffuser should be replaced though. The fibre version is gross.

TOM, LEAVE YOUR CAR ALONE!!!!

What she really needs is a nicely sorted chassis........and then, just enjoy her for what she is.

okay guys, thanks for all the input and comments. totally appreicate it :)

hey that's the Rieger Genesis kit, the testarossa kit, not Infitinity oh believe me, i love that kit after seeing a white one on PBMW... the one with Randy Sparre's blue E30 on the cover...

but testarossa is so "yesterday"...

don't worry guys, and kevster, hehehe relax.. i'm just "toying" with the makeover idea. but the opportunity of the makeover is real...

man, i need to sleep!

why go with the rieger? too OTT IMHO....in any case from what I saw onthe pic, looks more like an e30 m3 flared front and rear fenders job to me....looks pretty good too :)

You could buy those panels....I know coz I've seen those very panles (in fresh primer) arrive at Calvin Tan's shop one fine day...remember? he's building an e30m3 for sumone here in KL....lucky bugger :)

If go down this route, may have to dump the MTech2 kit or mabbee can keep parts of it - perhaps front bumper and rear spoiler....the other bits can be fabricated by theva/deva perhaps follow ori MTech2 design but fabricated to fit the curves :)...then u should get the look like in the pic...

as for wheels...if its the e30m3 design u r following, mabbee not too much of a problem....follow e30m3 specs lah i guess....perhaps dun via a 5 lug conversion or standard e30 set up with spacers etc. 9appropriately sized up that is)....

whaddaya think? IMHO only :D
